Yesterday, I met a girlfriend for brunch at Zest Kitchen. She and I met while walking along the American River. It was a lovely lunch! I ordered a mushroom panini with avocado and a decaf black iced tea. Zest was the first place where I sold a painting. The picture was of a young boy with a hula hoop in Africa.
I worked on confirming our vacation to The Ridge in Tahoe after lunch. I booked this vacation last October, but apparently we don't have enough points to stay there.
I made a delicious chicken sausage soup last night! The chicken was vegan.
Today, I am hoping to visit with a couple of cousins from out of town.
I want to buy my husband a pressure washer for Father's Day. Don't think he looks at my website so I think the surprise is safe here.
Pentecost is Sunday. Pentecost is a Christian holiday which takes place on the 50th day after Easter Sunday. It commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and other followers of Jesus Christ while they were in Jerusalem celebrating the Feast of Weeks, as described in the Acts of the Apostles. Have you admitted your sins? Do you accept that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died for our sins so that we can spend eternity with Him? If so, have you asked Jesus to be the Lord of your life and to come into your heart? When you do, the Holy Spirit will descend upon you as well. Awesome!
Memorial Day is Monday. Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for honoring and mourning the U.S. military personnel who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. I want to make waffles for dinner that day. I also need to make something with black-eyed peas next week. Anyone have any gluten-free, lactose free recipes?
