Five 5" X 7" acrylic paintings on wood panels of our youngest grandchildren's favorite things at our home. They love to play with marbles; eat loquats from our tree; play checkers; color; and the youngest loves to play with the toy motorcycle I brought back from Kenya for his Papa. I didn't know one of their fsvorite toys was the checkers! My great Uncle Hud made the checker board years ago.
The simplest way to clean up an oil or acrylic painting on canvas is to use a white cotton cloth soaked in a gentle soapy water; olive oil–based soap works wonders. You’ll be surprised to see how much grime comes off. Be gentle with paintings with thick impasto, as you do not want to break hardened paint. You might want to use Q-tips and work gently in crevasses.
