National Suicide Prevention Month

For an art show at Shepherd of the Sierra Presbyterian Church next month, I am working on a series of acrylic paintings. I started a painting today for National Suicide Prevention Month. From a childhood acquaintance to our nephew, I have known several people who have taken their own lives. I worked with over half of them at a law enforcement agency. They are all missed by me. I chose a portrait of our great niece, a gorgeous, brilliant young lady. A survivor, she is. She is dear to me. I'm so glad she allows me to be a part of her circle.
